To better organize the dashboards you create, you can create subfolders (one level deep) under the Public or Private root folders in the Dashboard Selector control. Public and Private subfolders make it easy to group dashboards into related folders to support various analysis tasks or groups of users. While everyone can create and edit Private folders, only users with sufficient permissions (Back Office, Manage Site, and Manage Projects in their default user role) can create/edit public folders. While folders can also be created using the Save Dashboards dialog, they can only be edited, deleted, or reordered in the Dashboard Selector control. The following topics describe various folder editing options available in the Dashboard Selector.
