Once you have entered actual performance data on the Actual Data tab of the Edit Closeout dialog, SLIM-Collaborate will display your completed project against the trend group selected on the Project Settings tab and calculate 5-star ratings to assess the project’s schedule, effort, and reliability performance. Before accessing the benchmark features, it’s important to ensure that the information listed on the Actual Data tab represents final, actual data (not estimated values advanced from the Estimation service). The Project Status and Solution Workflow Status fields can be used to document whether the project’s schedule, effort, and reliability data represents estimated (the initial state of advanced estimation projects) or actual, final performance. Via the custom columns on the project list, you can also use these fields to identify projects that are ready for benchmarking analysis.
