SLIM-Collaborate’s ability to support enterprise users across multiple divisions, locations, or business units makes it easy to build and maintain an enterprise level database of completed projects. Users can create new Closeout projects directly in Collaborate, import existing records from a SLIM-DataManager database, or advance Estimation projects to the Closeout stage once the project has completed. Regardless of the method used, the ability to gather and share historical data in real time reduces the workload and allows stakeholders to contribute.
Whether your goal is to merge records created in Collaborate with your organization’s master SLIM-DataManager database, create custom benchmark trends in SLIM-Metrics, take advantage of SLIM-DataManager’s 300+ standard and custom metrics, or export custom reports from DataManager and perform analysis in applications like Excel, sooner or later you’ll want to export your completed project data from Collaborate.
There are two ways to export Closeout projects to
SLIM-DataManager .smp file format:
• Export to a new database. This option is ideal when Collaborate is where you maintain your corporate database.
• Export to an existing DataManager database. This option was
designed to periodically refresh enterprise-level databases maintained in
SLIM-DataManager with data from Collaborate.
The Export Closeout projects feature is a Back Office function available only to users with Full Access to the Closeout service in their default role, Back Office permissions, or Admin (Manage Site) permissions.
