When you log into SLIM-Collaborate, the list of projects visible to each user is determined by project access settings set at the individual project level and the default role and permissions associated with that user’s profile (maintained by the site administrator). What this means from a practical standpoint is that Jane Doe will see only those projects to which she has been granted access. John Smith may see an entirely different list of projects and their Program Manager (who has Administrator privileges) will see all projects in the portfolio.
Because an organization’s portfolio can contain hundreds or even thousands of projects, sorting, grouping, and filtering the project list before you begin working with Portfolio dashboards will make it easier to focus on projects of specific interest. You can group projects by stage or OBS Node, sort them by completion date or size, or filter the project list to show only the parts of your portfolio that are directly relevant to the analysis tasks you need to perform.
For more information on sorting, grouping, custom columns and exporting the list to CSV Format please see the Grouping, Sorting, and Filtering Lists topic and the Exporting Grids or Lists to CSV or Excel Format topics in this User Guide.
