The Dashboard Selector is a drop-down list control located at the center top of every dashboard. In previous versions of SLIM-Collaborate, it was primarily used to review the list of available dashboards and select a dashboard to display. New icons for adding and locking folders, favoriting dashboards, and editing or deleting folders and dashboards have been added to make it easier than ever to manage folders and dashboards without leaving the project or portfolio dashboards.
In SLIM-Collaborate 4.0, the Dashboard Selector was greatly
enhanced to provide easier editing of Project and Portfolio dashboard content. A
subset of the features and functions in the Dashboard Selector is also available
via the Save Dashboard dialog. In general, these features can be grouped into
Dashboard and Folder options:
•Dashboard Options
o Select/display a dashboard.
o Favorite a dashboard.
o Edit dashboard name.
o Delete dashboard.
o Reorder dashboards
•Folder Options
o Expand/collapse Public and Private root folders.
o Create subfolders (one level deep) below the Public and Private (root) folders
o Edit subfolder names
o Delete subfolders
o Reorder folders (within parent Public/Private folder)
o Lock/unlock Public subfolders
o Drag/drop or save dashboards into or out of unlocked folders
