Solution Workflow Status

This optional field allows project teams to assign a custom status to projects and solutions within SLIM-Collaborate.  The solution status is used to track a project’s progression through various workflow steps, signal when “next step” actions should occur, filter/sort projects in the Project List, and can serve as a signal to manually launch calls to external applications or utilities from within a project in the estimation stage via the project toolbar. Because this field is optional, solution workflow statuses will not be available for selection in the Solution Log or visible (in view only mode) on the Project Settings tab of estimation projects or Closeout projects (edit mode) until your site administrator has defined one or more workflow statuses in the Admin Site’s lookup tables. Once it has been configured via the Admin Site, the field can be edited via the Estimation service Solution Log or on the Project Settings tab of Closeout projects.
