When project estimates are imported from SLIM-Estimate to SLIM-Collaborate or exported from the Estimation service to desktop-compatible .sew file format, only data fields common to both SLIM-Collaborate and SLIM-Estimate are imported or exported. Data fields required by SLIM-Estimate (but not used in SLIM-Collaborate) are supplied by an associated workbook that was uploaded when the project was imported or – for projects created in SLIM-Collaborate - inherited from the template or existing project used to supply initial project settings. If the project is checked out for round trip data exchange with SLIM-Estimate and checked back in, its associated workbook is updated at that time.
