Though the vast majority of users will only have access to the main Collaborate site, there are actually two sites associated with your organization’s instance of SLIM-Collaborate.
The Main site is where users can view, upload, create, or edit the projects in your Collaborate project portfolio. Because it is where most users will spend their time, most of the sections in the SLIM-Collaborate user guide deal with the Main Site and the Estimation, Closeout, and Back Office services.
Unlike the Main site, access to the Admin Site is typically limited to one or two site administrators. The Admin site is used to configure and maintain site wide settings, enter or update the site license, customize contact information and global default values, create an optional OBS (Organizational Breakdown Structure), configure individual user profiles, roles, and permissions and customize selection values for commonly used data fields on the main Collaborate site, such as Function Unit and Gearing Factors, Solution Workflow Statuses, and Keywords.
If you have questions about any of these settings, contact your site administrator.
