The first time you log into the Admin site and inspect the lookup tables, you will see a collection of preconfigured, QSM default selection values. QSM default lookup values are identifiable by a hashmark placed before the item name (example: #Base Size Units, #Function Points, #C++). These default lookup values represent standard values that are used to query and stratify industry data stored in the QSM database. They are also used to update project records when project data is imported from or exported to SLIM-Suite desktop tools.
To ensure valid industry comparisons and preserve the integrity of data exchanged with the desktop applications, the names and acronyms of QSM default lookup items cannot be changed from within SLIM-Collaborate. QSM default lookup values cannot be deleted from the lookup tables, but you can make them unavailable for selection on the main SLIM-Collaborate site by simply unchecking the Include checkbox.
