The new .sew (SLIM-Estimate Workbook) file created during checkout can be opened in the SLIM-Estimate version used to create the original source workbook or upgraded and opened in more recent versions of SLIM-Estimate. Workbooks are forward, but not backward compatible: they can be upgraded to a more recent version of SLIM-Estimate and opened but cannot be opened by older versions.
