.The Domain field is a top-level descriptive field used to classify projects by type: Software, Hardware, Infrastructure, Documentation, Testing, or Other. This field is set on the Description tab of the Edit Project or Edit Template tabbed dialog. Depending on the Domain chosen, the Application Type values available for selection will change:

Because this field is used to collect and stratify industry data in the QSM database, selection values cannot be renamed, deleted, or made inactive (unavailable for selection) and new items cannot be added to this table. Only the description for each item can be edited.
