Any authentication process that requires custom coding to implement. Custom authentication is most appropriate for corporate directories that don’t use standard LDAP, clients with special LDAP security needs, or clients who wish to augment SLIM-Collaborate’s authentication methods with custom password logic such as rules for passwords (for example, at least 10 characters including an upper-case letter).
