The Clone Project toolbar button allows you to create a copy of any project in the Estimation stage. This can be useful before advancing an estimate to the closeout stage (this allows you to preserve the estimate for comparing estimated vs. actual performance upon project closeout). Clicking this icon creates a copy of the project with “(Copy n)” appended to the project name.
