Like the Domain field, the application type field is used to classify projects by function and complexity. This field is set on the Description tab of the Edit Project or Edit Template tabbed dialog. Note that selection values for this field depend upon the Domain selected. Because this field is used to collect and stratify industry data in the QSM database, QSM default selection values cannot be renamed, deleted, or made inactive (unavailable for selection) and new items cannot be added to this table. Only the description for each item can be edited.
